I still have about half a dozen pages left in the Strathmore sketchbook, but seeing it is the 1st of a new month, I am going to give a Moleskine a try.

I have the hardest time completing the last few pages of my sketchbooks. And the very last page, forget about it. What exactly is the attraction to Moleskin books? I almost bought one the other day but a small book (I think it was about 5"x7") cost nearly $15. Of course, this was at Barns & Noble so maybe the price was a little inflated. If I can find one that is less expensive (or if I suddenly become independently wealthy) I might give it a try.

They are $11-12 at the Borders in Salem for the little ones. No sales tax in Oregon too!
Wow, that is still a bit pricey for me. I think I'll stick with Cranson or Strathmore where I can get a 9"x11" 100 sheet sketch pad for less than $10.
Though since my birthday is coming up I could make a request ...
good luck with your new sketchbook Alan!!
can't wait to see new sketches:)
