EDinMay #12 Harris Beach

I am still 1 day behind on my challenge. The good news is I am only 1 day behind in my challenge. #12 is Harris Beach near Brookings, Oregon. Micron pen with Prismacolor pencils.

You achieved some very nice depth in this one from foreground to background. The colors work well together too. Keep up the good work!

The Prismacolors look to be lovely and soft. I was delighted when I clicked for a larger view of your drawing - really like your approach to this one.

My knowledge of the Oregon landscape is limited to Ken Kesey's descriptions in "Sometimes a Great Notion", but it has stayed with me as a part of the US I would love to see one day.

Love it, Alan. The water looks very calm, but the rocks look treacherous! Oregon must be a lovely place to live.

e-j...I thought you were about to say One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. The movie was filmed here at the Salem State Hospital. Not necessarily a representation of Oregon.

Dad, I bet my wife knows where Harris Beach is.

I am really liking your colored pencil drawings. Each on seems to take the medium a little further. Great work!
