May 8 EDinMay Haystack Rock, Cannon Beach, Oregon

Busy day today so when the dinner bell rang I really didn't want to spend any time at the computer. Lots of new art surely has been posted today by the Everyday Matters Group. Hopefully, I will get a chance to go look at it tomorrow. This is a really inspiring and supportive group. I have done a series of Dachshunds this past week, but I am ready to move on to another subject. Don't get wrong, I love puppies and kittens and rainbows and such. Who doesn't, but my drawing time is limited. I decided to sit down to draw from a reference photo Haystock Rock at Cannon Beach, Oregon this evening for tomorrow's Every Day in May Challenge. Prismacolor pencils in the Moleskine sketchbook.

This nice drawing would also be appropriate for Humpday.
