Pretty with lots of depth in it. Congrats on getting through the month with daily sketches. I can't always write but I see them (bloglines and dial-up)
Alan, this is wonderful---there's lots of gusto and drama in the composition. I love the colors you've chosen, too. I've always found it hard to convey deep space or large objects with colored pencils, but you've done both beautifully!

I have enjoyed seeing all of your drawings for May, but this one might be my favorite. Great color and composition - nicely done!
This area of Oregon is very interesting with it's colorful hills and different colors of rock strata.
