Cactus Monday


First Cactus Monday submission. Still playing with watercolor, but I think I need to start using proper paper.

You will be amazed at what happens when you use other papers! Even if it isn't Arches or Fabriano (which really ARE amazing, imo), any paper that doesn't "crinkle" after being wet is wonderful! Keep at it.

If you do that good on non-watercolor paper, love to see when you get some.

nice job...like the shadow on the cactus...add it to the pot...same side! and yes that heavy wc paper is great stuff....treat yourself and get some!

spent the time getting shadow on the cactus..after I posted I realized I forgot to shadow the rest. Got some 140# paper cold press. Going to try it.
