Evergreen Aviation Museum

Impressions of B-17G located at Evergreen Aviation Museum and my recent visit. The museum visit lasted about 2 1/2 hours not counting the hour drive to and from McMinnville, Oregon from Portland. I am posting over several days photos from the visit on my other blog. You can get there by clicking the link over on the sidebar to the right. The Museum is also the home of Howard Hughe's Spruce Goose. Information on the museum can be found at their website by clicking the title of this blog entry.

Congrats on your 1 month anniversary. I am very behind on blog reading this week.

You are doing awesome with the watercolor. I got my set and yet to really try it. You are getting good!

I love all your stuff!

Hey congrats on one month!
I have'nt made it down to the museum yet, which is surprising, considering the fact that I'm a real big WWII history and aviation geek! when I first saw the drawing my first thought was the "bomber" gas station/restraunt in Milwaukee, OR! ( I recommend the Bomber burger... it contains a fried egg and peanut butter!) I like this style of sketching and journaling for you... I like the fact that not only do you record a sketch, you also provide facts that are particular to what you are drawing and demonstrating your expertise.
